About Us › Outcomes, Accountability and Research Data
JMG vigilantly tracks and responds to the outcomes of our programs, always keeping students at the center of the educational process. JMG has an extensive data and management information system. JMG Specialists collect information on each student and activity at the local level, allowing JMG to document outcomes for JMG programs and students.
More JMG students (96%) graduate from high school than other Maine students (86%). Five years ago, 33% of JMG students pursued postsecondary education. For the class of 2007, 47% of JMG students enrolled in postsecondary education.
In a recent report released by Maine’s Department of Labor, JMG’s impact on the economy is detailed. Six years after high school graduation, the Class of 1998 JMG graduates are earning 8% more than the rest of the 22-24 year olds in Maine. More than 87% of JMG students become successfully engaged in the workforce, military service, or continued education within the year after high school graduation.
In recognition of these accomplishments, JMG was named a “Champion of Economic Development” in September 2006 by the Maine Development Foundation for its commitment to Maine’s economic growth.
