The Reach Officer Leadership Education Seminar (R.O.L.E.S.) field trip brings Project Reach students from around the state to the Pine Tree Camp in Rome, Maine, to work on teambuilding and problem-solving exercises. 7th and 8th grade students spend two days at the facility learning leadership skills. Students have the opportunity to work with students from the other schools to discuss responsibilities of the Reach Council, defining what it means to be an officer on Reach Council and how to best run Reach Council meetings. Finally, students learn about the community service learning activities Project Reach programs are doing around the state and how to best advertise those activities through the production of public service announcements.
