High School Program

JMG's High School program is a year-round, experiential program.

JMG's competency-based curriculum includes career development, job attainment, job survival, leadership, self development and personal skills. Along with the school year activities, JMG Specialists also engage the youth during the summer with group activities, community service and social events. JMG Specialists also stay in touch with their students for a full year after graduation.

The goals of the JMG High School programs are:

1. Students will achieve better grades.
2. Students will experience a "connectedness" to school.
3. Students will improve their outlook and self-esteem.
4. Students will gain an understanding of pathways and opportunities to future success.

All students participate in JMG's student-led organization, the Career Association. Career Association members elect officers and all students serve on committees. The Career Association motivates and prepares students for continued education and meaningful careers, and provides opportunities for leadership.
