Analysts

Analysts provide CMP customers customer service by supporting metering and billing. Analysts ensure the accuracy and timeliness of billing and invoicing and are responsible for resolving bill-related problems.

Cable Splicers

Cable splicers are responsible for the operation, maintenance, and construction of CMP’s underground electric system.

Construction Supervisors

Construction and maintenance supervisors oversee construction, operation, and maintenance teams that support CMP’s electric distribution and transmission systems.

Database Programmers

Database programmers take part in the development, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of CMP’s Advanced Metering Infrastructure. This role is vital to ensuring CMP’s Smart Metering systems are functioning properly.

Engineers

Engineers contribute to the planning, design, operations, and maintenance of Maine’s electric grid. Engineers have multiple specializations, including distribution, transmission, substations, protection and control, and project development.

Lineworkers

CMP lineworkers perform transmission and distribution linework, including climbing poles, installation of poles, cross-arms, transformers, cutouts, lighting arresters, wire and cable, and other line-construction material.
